Gregor trained in the city of London and worked in London for 10 years before moving in 2001 to the Chambers rated and national firm Davies and Partners, a firm that acts for the major house builders. He was appointed partner in 2003 and head of the regulatory law unit a few years later. Gregor has since managed litigation departments.

Gregor has acted for individuals and SME clients on a diverse range of commercial, civil cases and regulatory matters including  professional negligence claims, construction claims, financial services claims, property disputes, shareholders and partnership disputes, breach of contract; repudiation and rescission; debt actions; breach of copyright; property related claims (including advising building consortia and PLC companies at board level) and Judicial Review proceedings, taking them from pre-action stage through to trial in all court forums up to and including  the appeal courts. Gregor also has considerable experience in all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution including mediation, arbitration and face to face round table meetings to resolve issues. He has a sound knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and the litigation process as well as a commercial and sensible outlook

In his own words:

“Disputes, be they small in nature or large are difficult and time consuming for the parties. As such clients need practical and honest legal advice as to their case from the outset. Litigation is often confusing for the client and my approach is to offer helpful and sensible advice to the best and cost-effective resolution to their case. I am a fan of alternative dispute resolution however sometimes there is no option but to go to court where the opposition is difficult and uncooperative.”
